Lyndon Taylor BSc(Hons), FCOptom

Optometrist

- C&G Diploma in Retinal Screening

  • Member of Cheshire Local Optical Committee 1997-Present, Chairman 2015-Present 
  • Lead Optometrist Cheshire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme 2007-Present
  • Director of the Association of Optometrists 2001-2015, Chairman 2013-2015

Lyndon does a lot of work with local and national organisations involved in developing optometric services. He often acts as an Expert Witness in legal and regulatory cases involving Optometrists. He is very involved in continuing education and often gives lectures on legal and regulatory aspects of optometry and regularly runs and facilitates peer review sessions, His special interests are retinal conditions and imaging particularly in Diabetes.

His main hobbies are diving and woodturning

When not testing eyes, Elizabeth does the paperwork and keeps the practice running. Outside work, she plays recorders in Medieval duo 'Mondrum' and is interested in Medieval history and family history research.

 

Andrew Riley BSc(Hons), MCOptom

Andrew graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Optometry in 2000 and then completed his pre-registration year with us. He stayed with us until 2005, when his working life moved across the border to Wales, where he worked in hospital and independent practice. We are delighted to welcome him back to our practice. Andy has special interests in Children's Eyecare and assisting people with Low Vision. He has been very active in developing optometry services in Wales.

In his spare time he enjoys Climbing, Mountain Biking, Skiing and helping to organise Tarporley Primary School PTA Beer Festival!

Jemma Sherratt BSc(Hons), FBDO

Dispensing Optician

 

Jemma joined our practice after completing a degree in Biological Sciences at Liverpool. She trained with us as a Dispensing Optician and received her Fellowship of the Association of British Dispensing Opticians in 2014. She will help you with frame selection, adjustments, and advice on all types of lenses.

Jane

Clinical Assistant

- C&G Certificate in Retinal Screening 

- Optometric Clinical Assistant Certificate

 

Jane has been with us since 1996 and has progressed from being a receptionist to a Clinical Assistant. She will take retinal photographs and other tests in the pre-screening room before your sight test.

Marina

Clinical Assistant

 

Marina joined us in 2010 and assists Jane in providing pre-screening for our patients.

Jan

Receptionist

 

Jan became part of the team in 2009. She will usually be the one on the front desk welcoming you to the practice.
