Andrew Riley our Optometrist. Andrew started his career here at Taylors in 1999 and qualified as an optometrist officially in 2000, he spent the next 5 years working alongside Mr and Mrs Taylor and in Warrington hospital gaining experience with complex contact lenses, Low vision assessments and paediatrics.

In 2005 Andrew made the move to Wales where he worked within another independent practice and continued to develop his passion for paediatric Optometry in Wrexham Maelor hospital. Whilst in Wales Andrew became the Chairman of Optometry Wales, working with health boards and the Welsh government, developing services and ensuring the continuous improvement in patient care.

In 2016 Andrew moved back to Taylors and eventually took over the practice in 2019 after Mr and Mrs Taylor retired. 2019 was a big year for Andrew as he also received a Fellowship from the College of Optometrists for his work in Wales!

Andrew has always had an interest in for complex eye care and always wants to make sure he is offering the best additional services to his patients. You can see from our reviews just how loved he is here, always making the most nervous of patients feel at ease and welcome.

His hobbies outside of work include skiing, rock climbing and just being in the great outdoors with his wife and two children.
